The Endocannabinoid System “ECS”
The ECS is an innate central regulatory system located in the brain, central and peripheral nervous systems which controls functions of the body. The ECS consists of neuromodulatory lipids and their receptors which monitor appetite, pain-sensation, mood and memory. It can be seen as the “bridge” between the body and mind.
Two primary endocannabinoid receptors are identified as CB1 and CB2. CBD fits like a lock and key into each. These receptors impact physiological processes affecting pain modulation, memory, appetite, anti-inflammatory effects and other immune responses.
CBD is one of the 200+ active cannabinoids found in the hemp plant and makes up for 40% of the plants extract.
CB1 – receptors found in the brain and central nervous system which play a large role in memory, mood, sleep, appetite, pain sensation.
CB2 – responsible for anti-inflammatory effects. Inflammation is an immune response believed to be a factor in many diseases and conditions.
The ECS feeds off of Cannabinoids and when taken daily, phytocannabinoid rich (PCR) CBD hemp oil may help the body to self regulate corrections and restore overall balance. When Cannabinoids bind to receptors (CB1 & CB2) they act quickly to change the way the body functions and help to enhance performance. When you ingest Spektrum Life CBD hemp oil, the receptor migrate the oil to the CB1 and CB2 receptors, binding them intuitively in the brain and rest of the body’s systems. This may result in many health benefits to the mind and body when taken consistently.
